Loading ...This genuine mahogany bed, like most pieces, was built to completion in the studio. We started with the platforms and worked our way to the ceiling sparing no expense. The platform is carpeted and rope lit. The actual mattress is an adjustable Dormia which my client already had and loved so we had to build around its moving capabilities. The ”nightstands” have 2in thick countertops which also serve as support for the columns. The flyover is mounted to both the ceiling and the wall and includes his and her light adjustments. We used Henredon fabric for the headboard. This particular bed took us almost 3 months to build, however the installation took less than a week.

Prior to opening his studio , Deon worked in new home construction for 7 years working with the Miami Valley’s most elite builders. Today he commissions some of the most exotic and unique creations from mirrors and wine cellars to entire bedroom systems and theater rooms. At the age of 35, Deon is very in tune with the latest and greatest in designs and product. He works out of his 3000 sq ft studio downtown, inviting anyone to come and witness the process and progress of their piece.
